Cairns Marine sells marine ornamental specimens to Australian retail aquarium outlets and international wholesalers. We also supply large public aquaria. We do not ship our specimens direct to the public; and we do not ship our specimens direct to international retail outlets or individuals.
We do, however, sell specimens and dry goods at retail prices from our facility in Cairns to members of the public to carry away with them. To ensure that we only ship our specimens to commercial entities, whether they are Australian Retailers or International Wholesalers, we require new customers to register with us. This enables us to establish an ongoing commercial relationship with our customers and to reassure our customers that we are not in competition with them.
There are a number of logistical and administrative differences between trading with customers in Australia and internationally. These include differences in the complexity of freight and packing arrangements; and the differences in currency and the paperwork for some species, e.g. corals, which are listed on CITES Appendix II.

Once you are approved and registered, we will provide you with a username and password, which will take you to the application section of the website. You can then view our stock lists and pricing, place an order and take advantage of other services on offer, including our comprehensive Care Atlas, which is currently being fine tuned and will be available shortly.
